The Crossed-Out Swastika by Cyrus Cassells

The Crossed-Out Swastika by Cyrus Cassells gives detailed scenes and provides a point of view from children during WWII. The poems take place in different cities and chronicle the horrors of the time period.

Cassells incorporates different languages, which are in italics, as are quotes. He also shares poems from the point of view of specific types of people, such as Mother and Son.

There are three different sections, as well as a notes section.
