Hundred-Year Wave by Rachel Richardson

Hundred-Year Wave by Rachel Richardson is a book of free verse poems focused primarily on encounter points between humans and the ocean. This ranges from historical (whaling history, the Titanic, Amelia Earhart etc) to the present (her young family going to the coast). PaPKHK Parenthood, marriage, and Sylvia Plath also run throughout. The poems in this collection range in the freeness of their form, some scatter across the page while others are in tight stanzas.

The author includes notes on direct quotes, terms of interest, and contexts she uses in her poems.
